Brussels Sprouts

October 13th, with 72 days to go – the day it seems like your grandmother starts to boil those sprouts. And why does Christmas come but once a year? Because that’s about as often as an atypical person can tolerate being served sprouts – also the reason nobody seems to eat in an Aberdeen/Angus Steakhouse.
To save you from the horribly overcooked and wet, yet somehow squeaky and hard to cut monstrosity – BBC Good Food has prepared 25 recipes to spice up your sprouts. From ‘Creamed Sprouts’ to ‘Sprouts With Sticky Shallots’; the recipes are endless. Except, I’ve just checked, and they still end at 25.
